Artist Statement
We have come a long way throughout the years. We now see biracial couples, biracial friendships. Sadly there are still people who have not realized yet that we are all humans and we are all equal. I'm honestly happy to see such a diversity of cultures and races in my everyday life. I am Colombian and I'm very proud of my roots and my culture. I did a collage to show that there are many different races and many different cultures in my family and friendships, and to show that we really have com a long way.
